Santa Speedo Run

Who says that Cape Cod is too cold for swimsuits in December? At Holly Folly, brace yourself for the cold and strip down for the Santa Speedo Run. A fundraiser that benefits the Cape Cod Firefighter/EMS Cancer Relief Fund, the Santa Speedo Run  requires participants to wear a swimsuit to compete. This 1 mile run through the center of Provincetown is full of Santa hats and beards, reindeer antlers, and holiday flair! But, not much else! Come prepared and enter the race. Then, warm up with a Champagne Brunch at the end!

Holiday Lighting Contests

All weekend long, Provincetown locals compete in a holiday lighting and decorations contest. When you explore Provincetown, keep an eye out for the best-decorated homes, storefront windows, lobster traps, and more! At the end of the weekend, the best residential, commercial, and lobster trap entries win cash prizes.

Performances by the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus

For many people, the highlight of Holly Folly in Provincetown is the Boston Gay Men’s Chorus performance at the Grand Dame in Town Hall. But, you’ll also enjoy meet-and-greet events with the chorus members before the concert. Then, after the performance, the holiday fun continues with a spirited post-chorus concert party!

Gingerbread House Decorating Competition

If you have artistic or creative skills, bring them with you to Holly Folly and enter the gingerbread house decorating competition. Teams of 2 compete at the Holly Folly Headquarters for bragging rights and a fantastic holiday gift basket! A prebuilt gingerbread house, icing, and piping bag are provided. And, you supply the candy decorations of your choice!
